Dave Mullarkey MANAGING PARTNER

Dave Mullarkey joined what was known as Schweichler Associates in 1996 and became an owner and Managing Partner in 2003. He has played a major leadership role in the firm's growth and success.

Dave’s practice areas include CEO and Senior Officer search work in Infrastructure, Digital Media and Clean Energy. He works with private and public companies, representing tier one venture firms such as KPCB, Sequoia, NEA, Andreessen Horowitz, and LightSpeed. Private Equity clients include Silver Lake and Francisco Partners. Several of his clients have IPO'd or been acquired including Fusion-io, Riverbed, iTKO, Aster Data, Rackable, Pure Digital, Ocarina, SunPower, Google, Wily, Topio, Amazon, Redback, and others.

Dave has executed on over 200 retained searches. He drives a tight process. He brings expertise around profile and search strategy definition, targeted research, development of the tools/pitch to attract top candidates, driving the candidate engagement process, and ultimately closing/compensation structure. Most importantly he has developed a reputation for "results" and attracting world class executive talent.

Prior to joining Schweichler, Dave was the founding CEO of a company that became one of the premier Internet consulting firms in Central California, growing to over 300 clients.

Dave earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, including a minor in Psychology. He graduated with academic and athletic honors (Tennis All American). He is married and has three wonderful children. His hobbies include playing competitive tennis and basketball, and coaching his kid’s athletic teams.
