Lee Schweichler MANAGING PARTNER
Lee Schweichler, Managing Partner of Schweichler Price Mullarkey & Barry, has been engaged in
senior level executive search and selection since 1969. He focuses on recruitment at the
President/CEO and Vice President levels for companies in networking/datacommunications,
computing systems and storage, software, telecommunications/wireless and semiconductors.
Lee has completed some of the most successful CEO searches in the Bay Area technology community,
including John Morgridge at Cisco (and then placed John Chambers as #2 executive at Cisco), Dan
Warmenhoven at Network Appliance, Dennis Barsema at Redback (Dennis IPO’d RBAK), Steve
Dewitt at Cobalt, and Frank Slootman at Data Domain (DDUP). These executives built their
companies from early stage to industry leaders, IPO’d them and grew market value measured at
nearly $200B. He is very adept at identifying talent that goes beyond the resume. Lee
focuses on character and passion in his candidate selection process, and it’s paid off
over the years.
In 1977, Lee Founded the firm and has built the team which is now Schweichler Price Mullarkey & Barry.
The firm has become the largest independent technology firm on the West Coast.
Lee Schweichler holds an M.B.A. in Organization Behavior and Industrial Relations from the
University of California at Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from
the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Sterne
School in San Francisco, a school for children with learning disabilities. He is recognized in
Career Makers: North America's Top Executive Recruiters. Lee is married, has three daughters, and
resides in San Rafael, California.
